Dehradun: On Tuesday evening, the Vigilance team raided the Herbertpur power station in Dehradun. During the raid, the team caught a Junior Engineer (JE) red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹15,000.
According to the information, the team received a tip that JE Parvez Alam was demanding a bribe in exchange for installing electricity connections. He had asked the victim for ₹15,000. Acting on the complaint, the Vigilance team arrived on the spot and caught the JE red-handed.
